Righteousness Then Money
Foundation Statement: Money is never takes
precedence of righteousness, it cannot redeem you and it’s not going to Heaven
with you

Proverbs 11:4, Zephaniah
1:18-Riches aren’t going to do anything for you in the day of wrath
A. It didn’t say riches
aren’t profitable now, it say they weren’t profitable in the day of wrath
B. Righteousness takes
precedence over riches and that’s what you need in the day of wrath
1. In the day of wrath
rather you have money won’t matter; what will matter is do you know Jesus
C. If you give money place
over right-standing with the Father, then it’s out of its place
II.
1 Peter 1:18-19, Isaiah
52:3-Silver and gold won’t redeem you
A. It didn’t say don’t have
silver & gold; understand that it can’t redeem you;
B. It said silver and gold
are corruptible, not bad; that means their not eternal
C. If you give money place
over the blood it’s out of its place
III.
Psalm 49:16-17-Money and
things that you store up aren’t going with you
A. It didn’t say don’t have
on this side of eternity; It is saying understand that they’re not going with
you to that side of eternity
B. Worldly riches are not
eternal, but what you do with worldly riches can be eternal
