Kingdom Provison
FOUNDATION STATEMENT: We are ambassadors sent on assignment from Heaven into the Earth. While we are here we are to be supported
by the Government that sent us called the Kingdom of God. – Matthew 10:5-9
I.
We are sent into the
Earth on assignment from Heaven and Heaven is responsible for providing
us with everything that we need to complete our assignment here in the Earth
A. We don’t need to get our
provision from anywhere else, but the place that sent us
1.
Too
many believers don’t know how to receive the provision from home, consequently
they have to get that provision from somewhere else
2.
God
wants to be your source and your supply and he doesn’t want you running to any
other system to get your need met
a.
The
problem has not been with God’s unwillingness to release the provision; the
problem has been with our spiritual incompetence to receive the provision
b.
When
people are not taught in church how to receive the provision from God, God’s
way, then they have no choice, but to run to the world & receive that way
3.
There’s
a way to receive what we need from God
a.
There
is a law of receiving and if the principles of that law aren’t in place then
that law of receiving can’t work for you
B.
God
knows that you have need of things before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8,32-33)
1.
He
knows that while you’re here in the earth u need houses, cars, clothes, &
money
a.
God
wants u 2 receive the provision His way, not struggling 4
it the world’s way
1)
That’s
what the whole teaching in Matthew 6 is about
b.
I’m
never going to run to the world to get my need met b/c the world didn’t send
me; When I’m in need I run to the Kingdom & His way of doing things (Matt
6:33)
2.
While
He’s providing it, He decided to provide the best & do it in abundance-Ps
23:5
II.
We need to be conscious
who sent us and the government or King that we represent because if we’re not
conscious of that we’ll tolerate lack instead living in abundance
A. The God who sent you is
not broke and the place you come from has no lack
1.
Where
you come from and who you represent
a.
Revelation
21:10-21 – Gates of pearls, streets of gold
b.
Exodus
24:10 – Sapphire foot pillow
c.
John
14:2 – Mansions in Heaven
2.
We
need to remember that I come from a rich place sent by a rich God,
to live richly in the Earth, richly representing him
a.
EXAMPLE:
The people in that poverty stricken country catch a
glimpse of what the United States is like by looking at the life of the
ambassador. Multitudes of people
wait in line daily for their visa trying to get out of there & over to the USA
b.
We
are supposed to represent Heaven in the Earth to give the world a glimpse of
what Heaven is like & they’ll want it
B.
God’s
the provider & He doesn’t want u to lack anything that u need, or desire-Ps
23:1
1.
When
God is the provider there is NO LACK
2.
When
we are conscious of the King who sent us, understanding that He is for
providing for us, knowing that Heaven is the place where we come from, and it
is the place that we represent then the benchmark of provision in our
minds for our lives will no longer be just enough, but it will be more than
enough
a.
Shepherd
– to care for flocks, feed, guide, and shield
b.
Want
– to lack, decreased, to go down
c.
Green
pastures – prosperity
d.
Still
waters – peace
e.
Leads
me – guidance
f.
In
the presence of my enemies I have abundance
g.
Runs
over – abundance
3.
When
you’re God sent/Heaven sent you are not supposed to lack any good thing because
you’re giving the world a glimpse of what Heaven is like (Psalm 34:8-10)
a.
The
angel of the Lord encamping round about you is abundance of protection
1)
Encamp
– pitch a tent, siege (No way in or out)
b.
Blessed
– Proverbs 10:22 – The Blessing makes total life prosperity
1)
The
blessing works in such away that it removes lack from every area of life
c.
Trust
in him – In the Kingdom of God you must live by faith (Matthew 6:30)
1)
Where
there is no faith, there is no blessing, where there is no blessing there is no
provision abundance
a)
Faith
begins with the Word
2)
Faith
people ought to be rich because they are blessed
a)
Rich
should be the mark of people of faith
b)
They
are trusting in and looking to God and only God for what they need
d.
For
His ambassadors (saints) that hear and obey (fear) there is no want
1)
Want
– need, lack, poverty, poor
e.
Seek
the Lord – Matthew 6:33
1)
You
will lack nothing good when u seek God & His way of receiving provision
C. God wants the ones that
He sends into the Earth to have the best because they are representing Him
(Heaven) in the Earth
1.
Nobody
should have better or be more abundantly supplied than the ambassadors of the
Kingdom of God because we represent the richest place in existence
a.
Deuteronomy
7:14-God’s people should be the most blessed
b.
Psalm
112:3-Wealth and riches should be in your house
c.
Psalm
115:12-16-The Lord shall increase you more and more
d.
Mal
3:10-God wants to increase you in such away that you can’t contain it all
2.
God
doesn’t have just enough on his mind b/c He’s got the whole Earth on His mind
a.
God
wants to distribute to the world through you (1 Tim 6:17)
D. You got to know who
you’re working for (Matthew 10:5-10)
1.
You’re
working for God and He’s going to pay you
a.
The
workman is worthy of provision
b.
He
didn’t want them out there trusting in that bag; he was teaching them how to
trust him as their source and supply
2.
I
expect abundance b/c I know who my boss is; I know where I come from; I know
who sent me I; I know who’s paying me and providing for me; I know what He has
access to; I know how much He loves me
E.
While
I’m here I’m supposed to be kept from the evil that’s in the world (John 17:15)
1.
Jesus’
prayer: Lord they are not of the world just like I’m not of the world. They’re from Heaven like I’m from
Heaven. I’m not asking you to take
them out of the world because there’s work to be done there, but while they’re
in the world, my prayer is that they be kept from the evil that’s there.
a.
EXAMPLE: The idea is the U.S.
embassy in a foreign country. That
in that country there could be poverty, famine, danger, wars and other evil
things. But this person that’s representing
the United States has a bright white building that they live in, with a rod
iron fence surrounding it, and bright green grass inside the fence. Not only that he has armed guards
protecting that embassy and him everywhere he goes. Not only that, but whatever he needs in
that country he gets from the United States because that’s who sent him. They are paying for his house, his car,
his food all of that.
2.
That
should be the picture of us. That
in a world full of evil, poverty, famine, and danger we should be living in
that nice big white mansion, with bright green grass, and a black rod iron
fence surrounding. With angels
encamped around us everywhere we go, seeing to it that we don’t dash our foot
against a stone. (Psalm 91:11-12,
Psalm 34:7, 37:19)
