The God Of Ezekiel & Daniel

I.      Ezekiel

A.    16:6-14-God adorning his people with abundant prosperity

1.     7-God caused them to increase exceedingly in people, animals, and things

2.     11-13-God decked them with the best jewelry, clothes, silver, and gold; they ate the best food

3.     13-The prospered into royalty

4.     14-They were known amongst the heathen for their prosperity

B.     34:22-31-25-Covenant of peace; 26-Showers of blessing

C.    37:25-26-25-The promised land; houses, silver & gold multiplied; 26-Covenant peace

II.     Daniel

A.    Daniel is seed of Abraham; that blessing is his and character has it working

1.     9-When you’re captured, favor with the one who captured you is prosperity

2.     17,19,20-God made them 10 times better than the kings experts; that’s prosperity

B.     Daniel interpreted the dream and got rich

1.     2:6,10-13-When it’s interpret this dream or die prosperity is being able to interpret the dream

2.     2:46-48-The king made Daniel a great man and gave him many great gifts

a.    Made a great man-To grow long, grow tall and large, grow great, increase, to make great, increase greatly or exceedingly in people, animals, and things

b.    Many-Exceedingly

c.     KNOX-He raised Daniel to high rank, and showered many riches on him

d.    BBE-Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him offerings in great number, and made him ruler over all the land of Babylon, and chief over all the wise men of Babylon.

e.    NIV-Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men.

f.      NLT-Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men.

C.    Daniels relationship with money and things

1.     4:27-Daniel is a giving man; he advised Nebuchadnezzar to help poor

2.     5:7,16-17,29-Belshazzar makes a decree that whoever interprets this will be rich

a.    Daniel’s not money hungry; He doesn’t need it, but he gets it anyway

D.    Daniel prospered in every area

1.     Favor with the ones who captured him

2.     Wisdom to interpret dreams

3.     Money, position, and things for interpreting dreams

4.     Protection in the lions den

5.     6:22-I a den of lions, money won’t get you out; prosperity in there is protection

6.     6:28-Daniel prospered; the spirit of God wouldn’t have said that if it wasn’t in every area of Daniel’s life that he prospered
