The God Of Adam & Noah
I.
Adam (Genesis 1:28)
A. These are the very first
words that God had ever spoken to any man
1. Blessed-Called a blessing over them by speaking words, God blessing
something to cause it to prosper and abound
2. The first words he heard
were, You’re Blessed! (You’re rich!)
B. BBE-God gave him His
blessing
1. Proverbs 10:22-That
blessing doesn’t make just enough; it makes rich
a. Rich-To become rich, wealthy, enrich, gain riches; Possessing a
large portions of lands, goods, or money or a larger portion than is common to
other men of like rank; To possess great quantities of anything valuable;
Abundant, plentiful
b. Enrich-To make rich or wealthy; To supply with an abundance of
anything desirable
2. God calls, equips, and
sends (Luke 9:1-2)-God had to equip
him with the blessing and stuff to get the job done before he could send him to
do the job
C. Man’s assignment-There’s
no lack in this assignment command-28AMP
1. Fruitful-Flourish, increase, bring forth fruit in abundance,
plenteous, abounding in anything, producing in abundance
2. Multiply-Increase in number, grow larger, gain, brought in abundance,
exceeding
3. Replenish-To fill, to stock with abundance, finish, complete
a. You can’t stock with
abundance if you don’t have abundance
b. Complete-Finish this Earth and make it like this Garden
4. Dominion-Rule over, reign, bare rule (Proverbs 22:7)
a. To rule you’re going to
have to be rich
5. Man’s assignment from the
beginning was to distribute in the Earth what God had distributed to him
D. God placed Adam in Eden-Pleasure, Luxury, Delight,
Paradise (Genesis 2:7)
1. Pleasure-The whole of positive happiness, spirit, soul, body,
socially, and materially; Satisfied
2. Delight-A high degree of satisfaction, highly pleasing and affording
great pleasure and satisfaction
3. Luxury-the state of great comfort and
extravagant living; an inessential,
desirable item that is expensive or difficult to obtain; Extremely comfortable,
elegant, or enjoyable, in a way that involves great expense
4. Paradise-A place of bliss-the
highest degree of happiness with heavenly joys; a region of supreme delight and
felicity-happiness, or rather great
happiness, blessedness; appropriately, the joys of heaven, prosperity,
blessing, enjoyment of good or delight;
5. He was to eat of every
tree freely (Genesis 2:16)
E. If we were to ask Adam is
it God’s will that you prosper in abundance what would he say?
II.
Noah
A. Gen 9:1-3- He got the
same blessing & the same abundance command as Adam
1. Replenish-Stock with
abundance-You can’t stock something with abundance when you don’t have
abundance
B. 3-The Lord gave him
everything; Noah had it all and that’s prosperity
C. If we were to ask Noah is
it God’s will that you prosper in abundance what would he have to say?
