c.     Because he stood in blood and swore by Himself that’s why I trust, have confidence and feel safe and secure (Is 54:10, Heb 6:11-12)

C.    Proverbs 11:28-Failure is inevitable when you trust in (uncertain) riches

1.     The reason is because trusting in them will keep you from obeying God with them and apart from that you cannot succeed

2.     If you’re not leaning on money and things, they could be taken out from under you and it not affect you because you’re not leaning on them

3.     Trusting in money will keep you from sowing your best, only, and last

IV.   Mark 10:23-24-It said it’s hard for those who trust in riches to enter into the Kingdom of God; it didn’t say those who have riches can’t enter into the Kingdom of God

D.    The eye of a needle

1.     You had to unload your camel that was packed with all your stuff and let go of it and put it in someone else’s hands and then take the camel through and trust that they’d give you your stuff back

2.     When you come into God’s way of doing things you got to put all that you have in the hands of God (that doesn’t mean that you have to get rid of it, it just means you have to make it available to him by offering it to him) and trust that when you enter into His way of doing things whatever He requires of you He’ll load you back up again hundredfold

E.     There’s a principle here: People who trust in money are not qualified for more of it because of their unwillingness to let go of it

1.     This rich young ruler was on the verge of being richer than he ever had before and if he would have just relinquished his trust in money and put it Jesus he would have saw much more of it

2.     Ezekiel 16:4-28
