I.      Ephesians 2:1-19-If prosperity seems to be missing in your life and the demonstration of God’s love is absent it’s not God’s fault, neither is it by His choice; It has to be received by your faith and obedience (God can’t do what you’re faith won’t permit)

A.    Ephesians 2:1-19-This run’s parallel with Ezekiel 16

1.      1-3-We were under Satan’s control, children of wrath, we belonged to him (Ezekiel 16:1-3)

2.      4-His love is behind everything that He does in regards to the prosperity of his people (Just like Ezekiel 16:6-8)

a.    5-Love made us alive together with Christ-(Ezekiel 16:6 He said unto them live)

b.    6-Love put them in a place of authority

c.     7-What does love do? Love demonstrates and manifests excessive free wealth

d.    10-Love prepared the good life, not a good life, the good life

e.    11,12,19-There was a time when you didn’t belong to God, no access to the wealth common to Israel, no covenant, no hope, but now you belong to God and are in the Family and under the skirt

B.     8,9-This is how God’s going to do it-This is how you’re going to see the demonstration of the overflowing wealth of his grace-By grace through faith, not earned

1.      Grace does something (saved) but it operated through the faith of the believer

2.      Romans 4:16-Grace is God’s side it’s the giving side; Faith is your side, the receiving side; You don’t receive this type of prosperity in any area of your life just because you want it, or would like to have it, but because you believe and exercise faith

a.    Grace only has one avenue into the life of the believer and it is through faith and without faith Grace will be on the outside looking in with no permission to function

b.    You’re seeing God demonstrate this grace as much as you have allowed Him to

c.     Grace is a gift, it’s an offer and it’s received by faith

3.      Matthew 7:11-God gives good things to those who are in faith, not those who just like to have it and lumber around in unbelief everyday hoping it happens

II.     God’s skirt extended to you by grace you have to come under it by faith; To come under his skirt he’s got to be your only man and you have to trust Him-Psalm 36:7

A.    They are trusting under that skirt: there are some who are under the skirt, but aren’t trusting under the skirt and therefore they are missing all the beneifts of it-1 Peter 5:6-10

1.      Casting of the care requires trust

2.      Resist the enemy steadfast in faith

3.      Grace shows up

4.      The prosperity of God’s people is here

B.     THEY-Those who TRUST under that skirt

1.      I believe because I’m under that skirt I’m going to be taken care of

2.      I’ve made it my refuge: I trust that skirt to be my security, my prosperity etc.

C.    Abundantly satisfied---Not a just a little bit

1.      Fatness of your house-The blessing of God’s household

2.      It’s according to God’s household, not according to what you need

3.      Rivers of pleasures-Luxury, Finery (Eden)---Psalm 35:27-His pleasure is your prosperity
