More Than Enough

God’s nature is more than enough
A. Genesis 2:8-God created this place for man and God put
this man there

Pleasure-The whole of positive
happiness, spirit, soul, body, socially, and materially; Satisfied
2.
Delight-A high degree of
satisfaction, highly pleasing and affording great pleasure and satisfaction
3.
Luxury-the
state of great comfort and extravagant living; an inessential, desirable item that is expensive or difficult
to obtain; Extremely comfortable, elegant, or enjoyable, in a way that involves
great expense
4.
Paradise-A place of bliss-the highest degree of happiness
with heavenly joys; a region of supreme delight and felicity-happiness, or rather great happiness, blessedness;
appropriately, the joys of heaven, prosperity, blessing, enjoyment of good or
delight
B. Exceedingly

Genesis 13:2-Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver,
and in gold
2.
Genesis 26:3-Sojourn in
this land and I will be with you; And Isaac became great and gained more and
more until he become very wealthy

2 Chronicles 17:3-5-The Lord was with Jehoshaphat…The
Lord established the Kingdom in his hand; and all of Judah brought to
Jehoshaphat presents; and he and riches and honor in abundance

1 Chronicles 29:25- And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel,
and bestowed upon him such royal
majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

In God’s eyes it’s not enough until it’s running over (in
quality and quantity)
A. Psalm 23:5, Luke 6:38-It’s not enough until it’s running
over
B. Mark 10:30-If you truly humble yourself and leave
something for Jesus and follow him you’ll get what you sowed, but it will be
100 times greater
C. John 10:10 (Super-abundant in quantity, superior in
quality, and by implication excessive)
D. 3 John 2, Isaiah 55:1-3-To the same degree that your soul
prospers is the degree that God wants you to prosper in life

God wants your soul to be
abundantly prosperous & therefore your life does He too
III.
Who is the best for?-The Earth
and everything good thing in it was created for God’s family; The good stuff is
for God’s people to enjoy not the heathen
A. Genesis 1, Psalm 115:16-God created the Earth and gave
everything good thing in it to His man and the good things in the Earth or for
God’s man

Deuteronomy 7:14-Nobody should be
more blessed than we are in any area
B. Isaiah 1:19-The good of the land is for the willing and
obedient
1.
Average is as close to the bottom
as it is the top
C. Wealth is not for the world
1.
Job 27:16-The wicked may be
working for it, but I’ll wear it; It’s not for them, it’s for us
2.
Ecclesiastes 2:26-The good stuff
is for those who are good before God
3.
Isaiah 61:6-Riches aren’t for the
world
D. Haggai 2:8, Hebrews 1:3, Romans 8:17-The silver and the
gold is God’s, but I’m a joint-heir with Jesus and he is the heir of all things
and that includes the silver and the gold
