The Victory Formula
I.
The importance of the
anointing
A. God is only able to do
according to the power that works in you (Ephesians 3:20)
1.
He
is the power working in you; if that power isn’t working, the He’s not working
2.
God’s
able to do according to the power that works in you
a.
God
is limited on enhanced by the level of power that is at work in you
b.
When
that power is working at a very low level in us, we limit God and what He can
do in our lives
3.
We
must get that power working at a higher level, so that God can do more
a.
That’s
why God is doing as much as he could through believers today because the power
working in believers is working at a very high level
b.
We
would see God do more, if that power in us would work at a higher level
B. Satan’s whole kingdom and
operation is based on this anointing not working in your life
1.
God’s
only able to do according to the power that works in you; Satan is only able to
do according to the power that’s not working in you
2.
Satan
is the anti-Christ; he’s against that anointing (1 John 4:3)
a.
He
has no answer for that anointing because greater is Christ in you
3.
Where
the anointing is at work he isn’t (Acts 10:38)
a.
He’s
got to get you to operated on the level of natural power if he’s ever going to
have a chance to defeat you (Matthew 12:29)
II.
How do we increase the
level of that power/anointing working in us? (Galatians 5:1-6)
A. 1-Stand fast in the
liberty that the anointing has produced in your life
1.
Stand
fast-Stand firm, persist, fix, established
2.
To
stand fast in the liberty you’re going to have to stand fast in the anointing
or power that produced that liberty
3.
To
stand fast in the anointing that produced that liberty you’re going to have to
stand fast in a lifestyle of love and faith
4.
You’re
going to have to stand firm, persist, be fixed and established in a lifestyle
of love and faith
a.
Rooted
& grounded in love, in faith, & in the anointing (Eph
3;17, Col 1:23,2:6)
B. 1-The yoke of bondage
1.
Isaiah
10:27-The anointing destroys the yoke
a.
To
get entangled again with the yoke of bondage you’re going to have to get
outside the anointing
2.
Hebrews
2:15-Through fear they were subject to bondage; they had to go through fear to
get the bondage
a.
Subject
to bondage is the same as entangled again with the yoke of bondage
1)
Through
fear they were entangled again with the yoke of bondage
b.
Fear
shuts the anointing off and when it does the bondage begins
3.
Isaiah
54:14-You’ll be far from oppression (bondage) because you do not fear
a.
Staying
out of fear will keep that anointing on and keep the bondage off
4.
Romans
8:15-The Spirit of bondage is the spirit of fear
a.

Timothy 1:7-The spirit of fear is the spirit of no power or bondage
C. 2-Circumcision doesn’t
put the Anointed One or his anointing to work
1.
Being
circumcised reveals a lack of faith in him, with no faith the anointed One and
his anointing will profit you nothing
2.
4-If
you’re trying to be justified by the law, it shows a lack of faith in him
a.
With
no faith in him he and his anointing has ho affect in your life
D. 6-In Jesus, the anointed
one and in his anointing, there is no power in circumcision or uncircumcision, but the power is in faith working by love
1.
Once
you get born again the only thing
that has strength, power, and force behind it is a lifestyle of love and faith
2.
You
can be in Jesus Christ, but not live a lifestyle of love and faith and if you
do that you’ll live a life void of the anointing
a.
Anything
you do outside of love and faith carries no power
E. You see the Anointed one
and His anointing have the greatest impact in your life when you develop in to
greater levels of love and faith
III.
The importance of this
lifestyle of love and faith is that God is only able to do according to the
power that works in you and the power that works in you works by love and faith
A. Love and faith referenced

They
are addressed together (Ephesians 3:17, 6:23, Galatians 5:6)

6:23-Peace be to the brethren, and
love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus

the object and purpose of his teaching is love and faith

Paul
wanted Timothy to stay in Ephesus when he went to Macedonia to:

Charge
them that they teach no other doctrine

To
not pay attention to fables, myths, genealogies that promote useless
speculations and questionings rather than divine training in faith

The
object and purpose of our instruction is love and faith

BBE-But
the effect of the order is love coming from a clean heart, and a knowledge of
what is right, and true faith

CEV-You
must teach people to have genuine love, as well as a good conscience and true
faith
C. 1 John 3:23-The
commandment to the NT Believer is to live a lifestyle of love and faith

Believe
on the name, which is the Word of God – (Revelation 19:13)

He
didn’t ask you to believe, he commanded it

Love
another as he gave commandment – (John 13:34)

CEV-God
wants us to have faith in his Son Jesus Christ and to love each other. This is
also what Jesus taught us to do.
D. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-Love
and faith protects the vital parts of you life
1.
To
be calm and collected in spirit by put on the breastplate of faith and love
a.
If
you’ll put on faith and love you won’t operate in a restless fearful spirit
b.
THE intoxicant is fear
2.
The
helmet the hope of salvation-That’s the hope of glory
a.
For
the mind put on a joyful and confident expectation that your deliverance,
rescue, soundness and wholeness will manifest any minute now
3.
Love
& faith is the breastplate because it protects the vital parts of your life
a.
The
armor that covered the body from the neck to the thighs, and consisted of two
parts, one covering the front and the other the back. It was made of rings, or
in the form of scales, or of plates, so fastened together that they, would be
flexible, and yet guard the body from a sword, spear, or arrow. The breastplate protects the vital parts
of the body. It was also referred
to as the coat of mail.
b.
Without
love and faith working the anointing isn’t working there and you’re vulnerable
to attack
c.
NLT-But
let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith
and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.
d.
NCV-We
should wear faith and love to protect us
E. Love and faith are the two
foundation pillars in the life of a believer, because it is through love and
faith that you activate the anointing in your life
1.
The
level of love and faith you walk in will determine the level of anointing
that’s working in your life; the level of anointing that’s working in your life
will determine the level to which God can work in your life
2.
There’s
a got to be a sense of urgency where developing and maintaining a lifestyle of
love and faith is concerned
a.
We
must renew our mind to: No love, No faith, No anointing, No victory
b.
We
have to recognize that a step out of love & faith will cost you the
anointing and your victory
3.
We
have to develop a consciousness of love and faith; in the sense that we are
checking every thought, every word, and every step we take, always asking
ourselves was that love, was that faith?

The formula of victory

This
is God’s prescription for you: love, faith, the anointing

B. The inner workings of the
law of the anointing

The
lifestyle of love and faith guarantees me the anointing and guarantees me
victory

Laws
work the same way every time the principles of them are put to work; they don’t
produce inconsistent results

Romans
3:27-The law of faith
a.
When
the law of faith is released it will do the same thing every time; it connects
to and activates the anointing

When
you get involved in the principles of faith, faith works every time because
it’s a law

Faith
will do the same thing every time when the principles of it are applied

love’s not supporting faith, it will not work

Flashlight works by batteries

gets rid of all the fear, cares, worries, and torment so that faith can be
fully persuaded and function the way it’s supposed to

Faith
with fear, carries, worries, and torment isn’t fully persuaded faith

If
love is not working fear will be present with torment to contaminate your faith
and contaminated faith is weak faith won’t get it

You
get outside of love and you run a contamination line to your faith
a) Love keeps faith pure

When
the law of anointing is released it does the same thing every time; it removes
burdens and destroys yokes and causes me to triumph

Anytime
victory showed up it was a result of the anointing at work (2 Cor 2:14)

the anointing is at work it is the result of the love of faith of the one for
whom it is working

Faith
works by love to connect you to and activate the anointing that will remove the
burdens and destroys the yoke

you’ll root yourself in love and faith
