The Lifestyle Of Power
I.
Colossians 1:25-29-The
mystery Christ in You the hope of glory
A. When you get a revelation
that the anointed one and his anointing is in you it will change you’re level
of expectation
1.
I
can confidently expect to reach my most exalted state and my most glorious
condition in my spirit, in my soul, in my body, in my relationships and in my
finances because of the anointed and the anointing that resides in me
2.
Whatever
area of your life that the anointing goes to working in, it is going to take
you higher
3.
Because
I’m no longer dealing in my ability, but in the ability that was in and on
Jesus and expect more
B. Philippians 4:13-I can do
all things through this anointing that is strengthening me
1.
That
makes the anointing the ability to do anything possible or impossible
2.
The
anointing is the ability to win in “impossible” situations
C. This “Christ in You, the
hope of glory” is a mystery
1.
Mystery-Hidden
thing, secret, not obvious to the understanding, hidden from human
understanding, beyond human comprehension
2.
What’s
hidden must be uncovered or revealed
a.
When
this mystery is revealed you’ll see the riches of the glory of it or the
abundant excellence of it
3.
It
is beyond your human comprehension that the anointed one and the anointing that
was him is in you today
4.
It’s
beyond your human comprehension that you could reach your most glorious state
in every area of life
a.
Isaiah
43:7-You were created for God’s glory
D. 28-Whom we preach-We
preach the anointed one his anointing
1.
Warning
men not live a life apart from the anointed one and his anointing
2.
Teaching
man in the ways of God so that he can walk in that anointing
3.
We
want to present every man full grown and mature in the anointing
a.
Ephesians
4:15-There are levels of this anointing
1)
Speaking
the truth-that’s faith---In love causes you to grow up into that anointing
b.
1
Corinthians 3:1-They were babies in the anointing
1)
You
walk as mere men; you’re not superman you’re Clark Kent because of your strife
E. 2:2-It’s the will of God
that you know this mystery intimately (Ephesians 1:16-19)
1.
If
He wants you to know it intimately then he most be willing to reveal it because
it’s a mystery
2.
There’s
love and faith in that scripture
F. 2:6-Walk in that
anointing
1.
2:7-Be
rooted and built up in that anointing
2.
2:8-See
to it that nobody talks you out of this anointing and this anointed life
3.
2:20-If
you’re separated with the anointed one and his anointing don’t live subject to
natural law
G. 3:3-4-The anointing is
your life
II.
Faith working by love is
our way into a life where the anointing is working
A. Galatians 5:1-6
1.
1-You
stand fast in that liberty by standing fast in that anointing and you stand
fast in the anointing by standing fast in love and faith
2.
2-Fear
is the yoke of bondage because it shuts off the anointing and when the
anointing is off the bondage will begin (Romans 8:14, Hebrews 2:15, Acts 10:38,
Isaiah 54:14, 1 John 4:18)
3.
4-If
you’re trying to be justified by the law and by doing good things then you
haven’t received Jesus as your Lord neither he nor his anointing will have
effect in your life
4.
6-Once
you’re born again there’s no strength, power, or force in circumcision or uncircumcision
a.
There
used to be power in that; David who was circumcised killed the uncircumcised
Philistine
b.
All
the men of Israel were circumcised to, but they didn’t know how to activate and
release the power of circumcision
5.
6-The
only thing that counts now is faith working by love; the power now is in faith
working by love
a.
The
power doesn’t lie in just being born again; you get the power when you get born
again, but just because you’re born again doesn’t mean that you walk in power
b.
The
anointing/power resides in a lifestyle of love and faith
B. The anointing works in an
atmosphere of love and faith

joy depending what you chose to say out of your mouth

chare the atmosphere

that place of doubt and unbelief the first thing he did was charge the atmosphere
with faith-filled, life-filled words
2. Psalm 23-“David composed this famed Psalm during one
of the most dangerous and discouraging periods of his life. He was a forlorn fugitive, fleeing from
King Saul and his army. In
desperation, David hid himself in a barren, desolate forest called Harah. It was named that because it was parched and dry
like baked earthenware. But God did not forsake David. He soaked this dry forest with moisture,
which had the flavor of the World to Come.
This showed David that God supports and nourishes at all times even when
their chances of survival seem to be non-existent.”

the shadow of death when he wrote this
