I.      Christ in you the hope of glory (Colossians 1:25-2:3)

A.    Because the anointed one and his anointing is in me I have an expectation to reach my most exalted state and my most glorious condition

B.     The anointing guarantees you success in life (2 Corinthians 2:14)

1.      When the anointing is at work in your life you can’t lose

2.      The anointing is what’s necessary for success and without the anointing working in your life you cannot win

C.    If you are a believer you are anointed (2 Corinthians 1:21)

1.      You’ve been baptize in the Holy Ghost and power just like Jesus was (Acts 1:5,8,10:38)

2.      You’ve been baptized into the anointed one and his anointing and now you’ve put on that anointing (Galatians 3:27)

II.     Activating and releasing the anointing in your life

A.    Galatians 5:6

1.      1-You stand fast in that liberty by standing fast in that anointing

2.      2-Fear is the yoke of bondage because it shuts off the anointing and when the anointing is off the bondage will begin (Romans 8:14, Hebrews 2:15, Acts 10:38, Isaiah 54:14, 1 John 4:18)

3.      4-If you’re trying to be justified by the law and by doing good things then you haven’t received Jesus as your Lord neither he nor his anointing will have effect in your life

4.      6-Once you’re born again there’s no strength, power, or force in circumcision or uncircumcision

a.      There used to be power in that; David who was circumcised killed the uncircumcised Philistine

b.      All the men of Israel were circumcised to, but they didn’t know how to activate and release the power of circumcision

5.      6-The only thing that counts now (in Jesus Christ) is faith working by love; the power now is in faith working by love

a.      The power doesn’t lie in just being born again; you get the power when you get born again, but just b/c you’re born again doesn’t mean that you walk in power

b.      The anointing/power resides in a lifestyle of love and faith

B.     You can have the anointing and be anointed, but not have that anointing activated and working in your life

1.      Genesis 17:8:14-Circumcision was a token of the covenant that they had with God

a.      Circumcision meant God was with us, we have access to his power

b.      There was power in circumcision b/c that mean you were in covenant with God

2.      1 Samuel 17-Every one of the men of Israel were circumcised and therefore everyone of them had the power to do what David did

a.      There problem was they weren’t conscious of the power of circumcision and they didn’t know how to activated it or release it in that situation

b.      26-David is conscious of the power of circumcision

c.      29-David stays in love

d.      32-David has no fear

e.      33-Saul isn’t conscious of the power of circumcision

f.       42-44-The enemy will always try to intimidate u out of the anointing through fear

1)      When he turns the heat up don’t flinch

g.      45-47-David is in faith

h.      Not only was David conscious of the power of the covenant, but he knew how to get it working in his life

3.      If you’re born again you’re anointed and you have the anointing, but are you aware of it and do you know how to activate it and release it in your life

C.    The importance of a lifestyle of love and faith

1.      Paul was always addressing love and faith

a.      Ephesians 1:15, 6:23, Colossians 1:4, 1 Thess 1:3, 2 Thessalonians 1:3, Philemon 4-5

b.      He told Timothy it’s the end of what we preach (1 Timothy 1:5)

2.      Jesus’ commandment to the church was love and faith (1 John 3:22)

III.   The power/the anointing works in an atmosphere of love and faith and therefore Satan’s whole premise, objective, and charge is to disrupt that atmosphere.  Where love and faith are disrupted the anointing cannot work.

A.    Matthew 14:24

1.      29-When this word “COME” was spoken to Peter it was the gospel of Christ and the power of God to him that believed it (Romans 1:16)

2.      29-Peter’s faith activated the anointing and now a natural man is doing supernatural things through the anointing

3.      30-Satan has to disrupt the atmosphere of love and faith

B.     Luke 8:41-55

1.      Jairus needs the anointing to work; he needs supernatural ability

2.      49,52,53-Satan’s always trying to disrupt the atmosphere of love and faith

C.    Mark 6:1-6

1.       The were offended and in unbelief and THERE he COULD do no mighty work

D.    Fear is the force that deactivates the anointing

1.      2 Tim 1:7-The spirit of fear is not the spirit of power; fear deactivates the anointing

a.      The spirit of power is the spirit of love and the spirit of sound mind

2.      Hebrews 2:15-Through fear you’re in bondage because fear turns off the anointing

IV.   Faith works by love to connect to you the anointing that will remove the burden and destroy the yoke

A.    Faith is the connector/activator to/of the anointing of God

1.      Romans 1:16-It is not the power of God that produces salvation to those who don’t believe it (Hebrews 4:2)----It’s the faith that activates the power

a.      John 20:29-Blessed, empowered, are they who haven’t seen and yet believe

b.      Ephesians 1:19-The power is in and for us who believe

c.      Ephesians 3:16-The anointing got in our hearts by faith and is activated, connected to, and turned on by faith

2.      People who believe God access His power by their faith

a.      Matthew 13:58-The anointing wasn’t accessed because faith wasn’t released

b.      Mark 5:27-34-She accessed the anointing by her faith and the anointing of God flowed through her faith and hit her physical body

3.      EXAMPLE: The power company is the source of your power.  The power that it provides can light your house, heat your house, turn your TV on, and it can do much more.  That power called electricity is capable of doing all these things.  But if your house isn’t connected to the power company through power lines you have no access to that power.  Now the power company has the ability to do all those things for you through electricity, but without a connection you can’t benefit from any of those things. 

a.      Faith is the power line through which the anointing (electricity) can flow and hit your life

4.      Faith is perceiving as real fact that you have received your victory and living, talking, thinking and acting like you have it now in spite of what circumstances around you are saying and being fully persuaded in your belief

a.      The real bible kind of faith is totally void of care, worry, fear

b.      The real Bible-kind of faith doesn’t have a care in the world

B.     Love’s function where faith is concerned is to empower faith and cause faith to work

1.      Galatians 5:6- No love = No faith/non-working faith

2.      1 John 4:18-Love purifies faith and gets rid of everything that tries to contaminate it
