Timeless Talk
FOUNDATION STATEMENT: In the Kingdom of God our language is timeless. When you talk in time you put off the
promises of God to a future date.
However, when you talk in faith, you put those promises on right
now. – Hebrews 11:1
I.
God does not deal in time
A. God is eternal
(Deuteronomy 33:27)
1.
There’s
no way of measuring eternity because there is no beginning and no end
a.
If
there’s never a start and never & end then there is no time b/c time has to
have a start and an end---EX: If don’t ever start the stop watch then there’s
no time
2.
God
never started, He always was
a.
How
Old Is God? God has no beginning so u can’t measure him in terms of time
b.
Before
time was God was; God was before the beginning (Genesis 1:1)
B.
God
is the I AM (Exodus 3:14)
1.
God
is not the I’m going to be, or I once was
a.
2000
years ago God never was, 2000 years ago God is
b.
Last
year u were, Last year God is, Next year you’re going to be, next year God is
2.
John
8:56-58-You’re not yet 50 – They thought they could measure Jesus in time
a.
He
didn’t say before Abraham was I was, he said before Abraham was, I am
C. There is no time in God
(2 Peter 3:8)
1.
A
1000 years and a day is the same to God b/c today HE IS & a 1000 years ago
HE IS
D. God declares the end from
the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10)
1.
God
starts with the end and He’s finished when he starts
a.
The
beginning and the end are the same to God
2.
Joshua
6:1-2 – God told Joshua that HE HAD GIVEN Jericho, its King, and their
mighty men into Joshua’s hand before it was in Joshua’s hand in the natural, but in the realm
of the spirit it was already in Joshua’s hands
a.
When
did God give Jericho into their hands?
1)
Revelation
13:8 – In the natural Jesus was slain 2000 years ago, in the spirit he
was slain before the foundation of the world
2)
In
the natural Jericho wasn’t in their hands yet, but in the realm of the spirit
Jericho had always been in their hands
3)
They
had a part to play in receiving it
b.
Joshua
8:1, 10:8 – He did the same thing with Ai and the 5 Kings
c.
Numbers
21:33 – He did the same thing with Moses
d.
Judges
7:9 – He did the same thing with Gideon
3.
God’s
already given believers things that some of them won’t receive-Eph 1:3-4
a.
Numbers
20:12 – He has given them the promise land, but their not going to get it
b.
EX:
God provided healing & healed you before the foundation of the world, it’s
always been that way
4.
God’s
given it to you and it’s already yours, now you have to fight the good fight of
faith and receive it
a.
Deut
2:24-You already have it, now fight the good fight of faith and receive
II.
There’s a language in the
Kingdom that we must talk and that language has no time
A. When you talk in time you
violate the law of faith/the law of victory (Rom 3:27, 1 Jn
5:4)
1.
The
law of faith says that you have to believe that you have received something
that you don’t have yet in the natural and then you will receive it (Mark
11:24)
a.
EX:
If a person desires deliverance from debt, then they have to believe they have
received debt deliverance. For that
person to say, God is going to deliver me from debt, reveals to us that they
believe they are still in debt and waiting to get delivered from debt.
1)
If
u believe you’re healed, then why are u saying that God is going to heal you
b.
2
Corinthians 4:13 – If you believe you have received, then you talk like
you have already received. If you
believe you’re going to receive, that’s why you’re saying you’re going to
receive.
2.
The
law of faith says that you have to believe and agree with what God said
a.
God’s
already done it so why have we been talking like it’s going to happen
(Ephesians 1:3-4, 2 Peter 3:1)
b.
God
said you were healed (1 Peter 2:24)
c.
God
said you are rich (2 Corinthians 8:9)
d.
God
said you are delivered (Romans 6:22)
e.
God
said you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)
3.
When
you come to God you have to believe that He is (Hebrews 11:6)
a.
EX:
When you come to God you believe He IS your Healer and if He IS your healer,
then that means He HAS healed you
b.
If
you believe He is, then that means you believe you are
c.
If
you believe He’s going to be, then that means you believe you’re going to be
B.
Faith
has no time It’s always now (Hebrews 11:1)
1.
We
are supposed to live by faith (Hebrews 10:38, 2 Corinthians 5:7)
2.
We
can’t think, talk, and act in time and live by faith
C. When God wanted provide Abraham
with a son He had to teach him how to talk out of time in faith (Genesis 17:5)
1.
If
Abraham believed that God had made him the Father of many nations, then there
was no need to say, he was going to be the Father of many nations
a.
Abraham
had to call those things that be not as though they were, not as though they
were going to be (Romans 4:17)
1)
Father
of many nations may be not, but he called it like it was, not like it was going
to be
b.
We
are to call those things that be not, as though they are, not as though they
are going to be; Just like it really is, that’s how you talk
2.
Talking
out of time (Joel 3:10, Psalm 107:2)
D. Talking the Kingdom
language [John 3:31 (AMP)]
1.
He Who
comes from above (heaven) is [far] above all [others]; he who comes from the
earth belongs to the earth, and talks the language of earth [his words are from
an earthly standpoint].
2.
Satan
has had a lot of believers talking in time, putting off what God has already
provided to some future date, instead of putting it on now
a.
Satan
always wants you to put off what’s already yours to some future date
1)
A
lot of believers have died saying that God was going to heal them
b.
People
who talk in time are waiting for the promise to manifest before they believe
they have it
3.
1
Corinthians 2:12-13 – The Holy Ghost is teaching us to speak of the
things that are freely given to us, out of time
III.
When we operate in faith
and out of time we will have dominion over time
A. Time was a resource
created by God (Genesis 1:5)
1.
God
called day and night into being and then there was the first day
a.
God
existed long before the first day, why was that the first day?
b.
Up
until that point there was no time, there were no days. God created time and then there was able
to be a FIRST day.
B.
Man
was made to have dominion over what God created (Psalm 8:6-8)
1.
Who
created time? God did. Man can have
dominion over it.
C. Dominion over time
1.
Joshua
10:12-14 – Joshua told the sun and moon to stand still because he needed
more time to defeat his enemies
2.
2
Kings 20:1-11 – Through faith Isaiah could speed time up or slow time
down
D. You are not bound by time
1.
John
11:3-6,21-27, 39-40
a.
Jesus
got news of the one he loved being sick and then stayed right where he was at
for two more days
b.
They
told Jesus only if you would have been here sooner he could have lived
c.
They
told Jesus “BY THIS TIME” he’s starting to smell because he’s been dead four
days (39-40)
d.
Jesus
is not bound by time (25)
2.
Rom
4:19-Time was telling them it’s too late for u to have a baby or time has
passed
a.
They
were able to have a child at that old age b/c time was not an issue
3.
Daniel
3 – Time was trying to tell them they were in the furnace too long to
live
a.
How
long before flesh begins to burn in fire?
Seconds.
b.
When
did there flesh start to burn? Never. Time’s not a factor. It was like they were in the fire for no
time.
c.
They
were in that furnace for too long, but they weren’t operating under the
dominion of time
E.
You
don’t have to wait on time
1.
Mark
7:24-It wasn’t that lady’s time because she was a Gentile and her time was
after the crucifixion and resurrection
a.
The
crucifixion and resurrection hadn’t happened yet, but by faith she reached into
the time of after Jesus’ resurrection and got what she needed and brought it
back in to the now
b.
She
didn’t have to wait on time
2.
Luke
5:1-10-Peter couldn’t catch nothing all night, approximately 10 hours, Jesus
showed up and they caught an abundance in no time
3.

God’s way she got healed in no time

time.
5.
Mark
11:12-Jesus spoke to that tree and the next day it was completely dried up
a.
Even
if you chop the roots that would take a long time
6.
John
2:1-Jesus took a six month process of producing wine, down to six minutes
7.
Amos
9:13-The harvest follows directly after plowing and the treading of grapes soon
after sowing
