Faith That I Am
I. Believing God has done it
and is offering it to you-Faith in his love and grace
A.
Knowing that it’s God’s will for me to have
these things, in light of that, what has He done already for me to have the
things and if He’s already done everything necessary is He offering these
things to me
B.
What has he done?-Faith
in His Love
1.
Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:8-He destroyed the
works of the devil
2.
Galatians 3:13-Everything that came on the
Earth when Adam sinned he bought you out of by his blood
3.
2 Corinthians 5:21-He became sin and now you
can become righteous
4.
Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24-He became sick so
I could have healing
5.
2 Corinthians 8:9-He become poor in every way
so that I could be rich
C.
Is he offering it?-Faith
in his grace
1.
2 Peter 1:3-He is offering all things unto
you that pertain to life the way God has it
2.
Romans 4:16 (AMP)-Inheriting the promise is of
faith that it by be given by grace
3.
Romans 5:2-We have access into these grace
things by the fullness of faith
II. Believing that I received
It-Faith that I am
A.
People do not receive because they believe in
God, believe God can, believe God will, or believe God has; people receive
because on top of all that they believe that they have received
1.
John 16:23-The Father will grant you whatever
you ask in His name
a.
Ask-Place a demand on, not asking for
1)
Get out of asking for mindset; it insinuates
that God’s got & isn’t offering it so u have to ask for it & that
mentality keeps you from believing you have received
b.
He’s given/offered to you all things that
pertains to life and godliness so you don’t ask for what’s being offered
c.
Healing/Prosperity is mine; I’m placing a
demand on the prosperity that I can’t see to manifest in the seen realm
2.
Mark 11:24-What things u “ask/demand” when
you pray believe you receive them
a.
It didn’t say when u pray ask 4 it, beg for
it, cry about it; it said believe u receive it
b.
AMP-Trust that it is granted to you and you will get it; not that it’s going to be
granted to you
c.
It’s you’re believing that you have received
that places a demand on what is yours in the unseen to manifest in the seen
1)
Salvation is the sinner’s; but until he
places a demand on it by believing he’s received it won’t manifest
d.
To receive it’s being required of you that
you believe you have something that you cannot see, feel, or touch
3.
1 John 5:14-15-My assurance and privilege of
boldness comes from this:
a.
Whatever I ask in line with His Word he
listens to and hears me
b.
Since I positively know he hears me I know
with settled and absolute knowledge that I have granted to me as my present
possession the requests made of him
c.
KJ-We know we Have-NOT
we know we will get
B.
A lifestyle of believing that you have
received
1.
Romans 4:17-We got to get you to talk like it
is finished
a.
It didn’t say call those things that be not
as though they are going to be somebody; It said call those things that be not
as though they are today
b.
AMP-As if they already existed
2.
Proverbs 23:7-We got to get you to think like
it’s finished
a.
It didn’t say as a man thinks he is going to
be in his heart he will be some day
b.
So if he thinks he’s sick and going to be
healed he’ll always be sick and going to be healed
3.
Faith is perceiving as real fact what’s not
yet revealed to the senses (Heb 11:1)
a.
Fact-Anything done or that comes to pass; facts
are stubborn things, reality
1)
It’s not yet revealed to my senses, but I
believe it as real fact
b.
Faith-Conviction of the truth or reality of
anything
1)
When a report comes that’s not in line with
the Word something inside of convicts you that the report is not true
C.
Who are you? What do you have?
1.
1 John 4:17-Everything that he is and has now
I am
a.
Romans 8:17-I’m a joint-with him
b.
Ephesians 1:19-20, 2:6-This is how he is
c.
Get your identity based on who he is, instead
of what circumstances tell you that you are
2.
James 1:23-25-This Bible is like a mirror and
it reflects back to me what I am
a.
Many people leave this word and forget what
manner of man they are
1)
EX: They forget they’re a healed, rich, free
and victorious man
2)
When they leave this word other things try to
form their identity or what they believe about themselves
b.
If you’ll continue to look in the mirror of
this Word you’ll be a doer of what you see
1)
You’ll do healing, you’ll do prosperity,
you’ll do victory
c.
This Bible is going to reflect back to me who
I am not who I’m going to be
3.
2 Corinthians 3:7,18-You become what you
behold
a.
If I’m looking in this Word about who I am
I’ll become that, but if I’m looking elsewhere about who I am I’ll be that
D.
Satan is coming after you’re identity (Matthew
4)
1.
The temptation here is about Jesus’ identity
a.
If you really are the Son of God; maybe
you’re not
b.
Matthew 3:17-Satan comes immediately to steal
the word
2.
If you really are, then do/have something
physical to prove it
a.
I don’t have to prove nothing to him
b.
Faith is believing you are when you there’s
nothing physical to prove it
1)
If he can get you to need something physical
to believe then he’s taking you out of the realm of faith
3.
4-Man doesn’t live by bread or the physical
natural world
a.
My life is governed not by the physical
world, but by the word of God
1)
Romans 1:17-The just shall live by faith
b.
Whether or not I can turn rocks into bread
doesn’t make me the son of God; I’m the Son of God because God said I was
1)
I’m rich because the word says I am and I
believe the Word
c.
I don’t need something physical to tell me
what I already know!
4.
Here’s the enemies strategy: He’s going to
point to something natural to get you to believe that you haven’t received (EX:
If you really are rich, then how come you can’t afford to pay your bills)
a.
When he points to the natural you point to
the Word: I’m not rich because I can or can’t pay my bills; I’m rich because 2
Corinthians 8:9 says I am
1)
Stop basing your self identity (what you
believe about yourself) off of what you see in the natural and start basing it
off of what you see in the word
b.
If he can get you to believe you’re not or
you don’t, then you never will be b/c to be in the natural you have to believe
you are and you have for it to manifest
5.
Before this there was no miracles done and no
manifestations of him being the son of God; after he walked in the fullness of
faith power showed up and results manifested (Luke 4:13-14)
a.
He believed he was the son of God with no
physical evidence to prove he was and as a result of him believing that, manifested
results that he was in fact the son of God showed up
b.
He believed he was with no evidence to prove
he was and then the manifestation that he actually was showed up
