What Is The Law Of Life
I. What is the Law of Life?
A.
Life doesn’t just happen; that kind of
thinking gives you no authority
1. Proverbs 26:2-The curse without cause will not come
a.
WYC-For as a bird flying over to high things,
and as a sparrow going into
uncertain; so cursing brought forth without reasonable cause shall come above
into some man
b.
NCV-Curses will not harm someone who is innocent;
they are like sparrows that fly around and never land.
c.
GNT-Curses cannot hurt you unless you deserve
them. They are like birds that fly by and never light
d.
CEB-Like a darting sparrow, like a flying
swallow, so an undeserved curse never arrives.
e.
DARBY-As the sparrow for flitting about, as
the swallow for flying, so a curse undeserved shall not come.
2. Deuteronomy 28:1-2-The blessing without cause will not come
3. Deuteronomy 30:19-Whatever you choose you have to go get the seed and
grow
a.
If the farmer chooses corn, he goes and gets
the corn
b.
If you chose healing, you go get the seed on
healing
c.
It doesn’t stop with choosing what you want;
you don’t get what you chose you get what you grow
B.
The law of life is this: Words are seeds that
are sown into my heart. They travel
in my eyes and ears through the gateway of my mind and into my heart. Out of my heart those words grow and
come to pass in my life producing the life I have.
1. Life is not coming from nowhere and it’s not coming from the words you
allow into your heart-Job 4:7
a.
All he said was the righteous are not
forsaken-Psalm 37:25
b.
People reap what they sow-Galatians 6:9
II. Growing fruit glorifies God
(John 15:8)
A.
Glory is which something has reached it’s
most exalted state & most glorious condition
1. The glory of an apple seed is the apple
B.
God is the Word and the Word is God and the
glory of God/the Word-Seed is when it’s in full manifestation in the life of a
believer
III. Word-seed, ground-heart,
harvest life
A.
Jesus likens words to seeds-Mark 4:14, Luke
8:13
1. Seeds grow up and become and so do words
2. There’s power inside a seed to become something, but the power of that
seed is only released when the seed is sown
3. You cannot harvest what you don’t have in the form of a seed
B.
Jesus likens your heart to ground-Mark 4:15
1. The ground will grow whatever you sow; Your heart will grow whatever you
sow
a.
Your heart assumes that if you let it in
there then you want it in your life
2. It’s not the job of the ground to determine what to grow and what not to
grow; it’s the job of the ground to grow whatever is sowed
a.
It’s the job of the farmer to determine what
he wants and what he doesn’t want
C.
Your life is a sum total of the words that
you allowed to get into your heart-Proverbs 4:22
D.
Your heart is the reproduction center of your
life-Proverbs 4:23
1. What you send to it in the form of a words seed, it will send back to
you in manifested form
2. What do you want? Find the seed and send it to the reproduction center
E.
How to get something into your heart?
1. The eyes and ears are the pathways to the mind
2. The mind is the gateway to the heart
3. The key to getting something in your heart is give ur
attention (eyes, ears, mind) to it
F.
What you’re not giving your eyes to, what
you’re not giving your ears to, what you’re not giving your mind to has no
potential to come to pass in your life-Pr 23:7, Mt 13:15-16
1. A farmer who sows no seed gets no harvest; he’s not surprised
2. We’ve been praying instead of sowing
