Faith In The Blood Of Jesus
I. Not only do we not want to
be conscious of sin, but we want to be conscious of our right-standing with God;
being conscious of our right-standing with God begins with being aware of what
the blood of Jesus has done and having faith in the blood of Jesus
A.
The more faith you have in the blood of Jesus
the more conscious you’ll be of your right-standing with God and the less
conscious you’ll be of sin
B.
To walk free from guilt and condemnation and
be right-standing with God conscious rather than sin conscious you have to have
faith in the blood (Rom 3:25)

II. We have to have faith in the
blood-Romans 3:25-NCV-God sent him to die in our
place to take away our sins. We receive forgiveness through faith in the blood-NIRV-God
gave him as a sacrifice to pay for sins. So he forgives the sins of those who
have faith in his blood
A.
Jesus will be the propitiation, he’ll stop
the wrath of God and put God in a place where he is ready to show you mercy and
be gracious to you, but that comes through faith in the blood; you have to have
faith in the blood of Jesus to get that done
1. The blood opens the lines of mercy and grace from God to his people because
it puts people back in right-standing with God
B.
The blood was working with an unholy,
unrighteous, wicked sinner, who’s father was the devil under the dominion of
death and the curse, in the kingdom of darkness, under the thumb of Satan’s
power (Eph 2:1-3,12,Rom 5:6-8,8:15, Colossians 1:13)
C.
To have faith in the blood of Jesus you have
to agree with the blood of Jesus and to agree with the blood of Jesus you have
to know what it is saying

agreeing with what it says-Gen4:9-10, Heb12:24
IV. When feelings of guilt and
condemnation arise get your mind on the blood of Jesus, have faith in the blood
of Jesus and agree with the blood of Jesus by saying what it says
A.
Yielding to condemnation is simply being more
conscious of sin that you’ve committed than you are the blood of Jesus and what
it has done in your life
1. A person who yields to guilt and condemnation is showing a lack of faith
in the blood

of Jesus the way they ought to; see the blood bigger

words of your mouth and faith in the blood

feelings of guilt and condemnation won’t be there

My
feelings are not the meter whereby I gauge whether or not I’m forgiven; if you
confessed it he forgave you
2. Just because you feel guilty doesn’t mean you are-2 Corinthians 5:7
